Six-goal Aley shines

HYDERABAD, March 5: Aley Hassan struck six goals to enable Karachi outclass Sibi 19-0 in a match of the 54th National hockey championship at the Board Stadium on Monday.

Atif and Uzair were other top scorers for the winners. Both of them scored hat-tricks.

Riaza Niaz and Rizwan netted two goals each.

In second match, Larkana beat Sukkur 11-0. Zahid and Ashiq scored hat-tricks while Iqbal netted two goals.

Saleem Junior struck seven goals as Hyderabad outplayed Lorali 25-0.

Kashif Saeed, Tayyab Ali, Rizwan Mughal and Qamar Ali scored hat-tricks as Hyderabad utilised six of the 10 penalty corners.
