KARACHI, March 5: Munawwar H Shaikh and Shahab Ahmed have been elected president and general secretary, respectively, of the Income Tax Bar Association, Karachi.

The other office-bearers elected included Haider Ali Patel vice president, Mohammad Imtiazuddin Zubairi joint secretary and Qadeer Ahmed librarian.

During the recent elections and annual general meeting of the ITBAK, the following members of the managing committee were also elected: Younus Rizwani Sheikh, Shamsuddin S Uraizee, Najam Irshad Khan, Iqbal Ahmed Abdan, Mohammad Zubair, Shabbir Hussain Saifuddin Vejlani, Arshad Siraj Memon and Fareed Hussain Siddiqui, says a press release.
