Two Afghan DPs killed by rivals

ABBOTTABAD, Oct 19: Two Afghan refugees residing here were killed by their rivals on the midnight of Tuesday.

According to FIR lodged by Lal Mohammad both the victims were in clash with rival group and many people have been killed earlier.

On Tuesday accused Amanullah, Dost Mohammad and Rehmatullah killed Ghulam Sakhi son of Behram and Rehman son of Feroz, resident of Paktia province, Afghanistan with Kalashnikov and both died on the spot.

UNIVERSITY: Hazara University will start functioning from next academic session, says the newly- appointed vice-chancellor of the university after the visit of the proposed site for the university.

Dr Ashraf Adeel who has taken over the charge of the university said that hospital building, animal health department building and other buildings covering more than 1,000 kanals of land has been acquired for the purpose at Dhodial, Mansehra district.

Initially six departments will begin functioning.
