Convincing victory for Karachi Blues

KARACHI, Feb 21: Opener Maisam Hasnain and Atif Ali Zaidi struck sparkling fifties in Karachi Blues’ nine-wicket success against Bahawalpur in their last league encounter of the Quaid Trophy Grade-I match at National Stadium Thursday.

Needing 140 for victory, the Blues reached the target half an hour before lunch on the fourth and final day.

Stylish Maisam belted 14 boundaries in his 63 off 83 balls after a stay of 144 minutes at the crease while Atif Zaidi hit nine fours in his 63 after facing 104 deliveries in 139 minutes to set up an easy win for their team.
