ABBOTTABAD, Feb 21: The Peshawar High Court, Abbottabad circuit bench, has issued notices to the NWFP inspector-general of police, the traffic AIG, the home secretary and the law division on a writ against the new traffic ticketing system.

Haji Muhammad Younis, Mansehra district transporter, has filed a writ in the court through his Abdul Shakoor Khan advocate and challenged the new traffic ticketing system.

The petitioner has termed the system unlawful, alleging that Havaldars are misusing their powers.

A double bench of the PHC has sought reply from those issued notices.
