The Ghaznikhel police said that the store keeper, Javed Iqbal, had lodged a report stating that some unidentified thieves stole 17 items, including medical equipment and accessories.

Hospital sources said that the stolen articles worth Rs 2.5 million included pulse oximeter, oxygen concentrator, specialist ophthalmoscope, hematology analyzer, ECG machine, OT light accessories, television sets, dental lath machine, blood gas analyzer, endoscope with accessories, fumigation rod (1,000W) and air conditioners, and added that sniffer dogs were brought from Dera Ismail Khan in order to find clues about the thieves but in vain.
