LAHORE, Feb 26: Khwaja Iftikhar Ahmad, a Pakistan Movement worker, died of a cardiac arrest and renal failure at a local hospital on Monday. He was 78.
His funeral prayers will be offered at the Pakistan Movement Workers Trust, The Mall, at 8:30am on Tuesday (today).
Khwaja Iftikhar was the brother-in-law of veteran leader Syed Ahmad Saeed Kirmani. He was also a former general manager of the State Life Insurance.
He authored many books, some about the Pakistan Movement, including Jab Amritsar Jal Raha Tha, which became popular. He also wrote columns in an Urdu daily. — Staff Reporter
