DADU, Feb 26: A widow and her son were kidnapped from Mehar town late Sunday night. Jannat Khatoon, wife of Wazir Ali Depar, along with her son Siraj 4, was kidnapped by armed men while she was on her way to home after seeing a doctor.

TPO Mehar Gul Baig Jatoi said that the kidnappers also restored to aerial firing.

An FIR against Manzoor Depar and his three accomplices was registered at Mehar police station.

Gulsher, brother of the kidnapped woman, said that Jannat Khatoon and her son were kidnapped over a matrimonial dispute.

He claimed that his father Mohammad Yaqoob and husband of Jannat, Wazir Depar were killed by the accused four years back.

CLASH: One person died and two others were injured in an armed clash here on Monday.
