KARACHI, Feb 26: Five ships carrying containers, coal and to load cement are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Tuesday, according to KPT sources.

A dozen ships, including container vessels, tankers and rice loaders were berthed during the last two days. They are: Bunga Delima, Kama Bhum, Wan Hai-311, Soon Fu, Cosco Lian, Yun Gang and Westermoor to unload and load containers, Tbark-3, Scan Atlantic with general cargo, Coral to load rice, Lalazar, Panteiena and Sunniva, tankers.

Sailing was also active as 17 ships departed during the last two days, notable among them being, Iran Sattari, Orient Independence, Oel Esteem, Wan Hai-311, Kota Perkasa, Bunga Delima, Sagamore, Swat, Tbark-3, Pac Antlia and Juillets. While Soon Fu, Westermoor, Sunniva and Mol Kauri are due to sail out on Tuesday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was brisk where a total tonnage of 0.207m tons comprising 55,631 tons of export cargo and 0.151m tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Tuesday: Oel Patriot, APl Jabel Ali, Iran Hesabi with containers, Jin Ace with 39,000 tons of coal and Eastmed Carrier to load 14,000 tons of cement.
