Youth killed over kite flying issue

SAHIWAL, Feb 24: A youth was reportedly shot dead over a kite flying dispute while another had his throat slit open by the string of a stray kite on Friday night.

Salim of People’s Colony was shot dead by Arsalan and his unidentified accomplices. Police have arrested Arsalan. Ghulam Abbas was killed by the stray kite and was laid to rest in Dhup Sari graveyard.

Meanwhile, police have arrested nine people, including Shahid, Salim and Nauman, from different places for violating ban on kite flying and registered cases against them.
