Four hurt in Basant-related incidents

LAHORE, Feb 24: A young boy and three children sustained injuries in separate kite-related incidents here on Saturday.

Reportedly, two-year-old Wasaf-Ullah received head injury caused by string of a stray kite in Garhi Shahu area.

Similarly, Zahid Aslam, 19, was on a motorcycle when he received string injury on his neck near Shah Di Khoi in Johar Town area.

The injured was rushed to Jinnah Hospital for treatment.

Muhammad Hassan, 9, and Kashif, 14, fell from the roofs of their houses in a bid to catch stray kites in Sattokatla and Factory Area.

Both of them were shifted to the Jinnah Hospital where Hassan was stated to be in a critical condition.

However, when contacted, the police did not confirm any of the incidents.
