LAHORE, Feb 20: The final of Quaid-i-Azam Silver League between Islamabad and Multan, now will be played at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad from March 1 to 5. The final could not be competed due to inclement weather when it was held at Gaddafi Stadium from Feb 7 to 10.

The last two days of the five-day final washed out due to torrential rains in the city, depriving Multan a certain win. Multan had piled up 514-9 before declaring the first innings and had reduced Islamabad to 212-5, before the inclement weather denied further play.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Cricket Board has appointed Shakeel Khan and Iftikhar Malik as two umpires with Khateeb Rizwan as referee. The winners will receive Rs 300,000 while runners-up Rs 150,000. An amount of Rs 100,000 will also be distributed equally among five players including man-of-the-final, and best batsman, bowler, fielder and wicket-keeper of the tournament.
