ISLAMABAD, Feb 20: Dope tests of Pakistan’s three World Cup players will probably be held on Friday, the first day of the training camp when four national stars, including skipper Inzamam-ul-Haq, return from a commercial shoot in Malaysia.

The three players still to be dope tested prior to the World Cup are Shoaib Akhtar and Mohammad Asif and all-rounder Shahid Afridi.

Asif and Afridi are currently in England while Shoaib is in Malaysia for a World Cup-related commercial which also involves three other Pakistani players -- Inzamam, vice-captain Younis Khan and wicket-keeper Kamran Akmal.

All the players are expected to report for training on Friday, the first day of the World Cup training camp at the Qaddafi Stadium, Lahore. The same day, the three remaining players are scheduled to be dope tested. —APP
