In a press statement issued here on Tuesday, President PPP Sindh Chapter, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, said that General Musharraf’s regime was repeating the barbarian tactics of Chilean dictator Augusto Pinochet against political parties workers and warned him to remember the tragic end that Pinochet suffered.

He said Mr Aresar, who was an elderly person was picked up by armed officials representing Musharraf's regime from Hyderabad along with his nephews and colleagues. They were treated in an inhuman manner.

He demanded of a judicial inquiry into the Hyderabad incident and those responsible for this act be brought to book.—PPI
