ISLAMABAD, Feb 17: Former world squash champion Jansher Khan on Saturday said his decision to quit his services as adviser of the Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) is final.
About his decision, Jansher said, he has informed the President PSF Air Chief Marshal Tanvir Mahmood Ahmed, adding a formal resignation will be submitted in black and white next week.
Jansher expressed he was all set to put the emerging young players like Aamir Atlas, Danish Atlas, Farhan Mahboob and Waqar Mahboob, on the road leading to the world title but the federation refused to give him a chance to train them.
“All I wanted was to produce a world champion!” said Jansher, the former eight-time World Open champion, adding he had offered his services for the promotion of Pakistan squash without asking for a single penny as remuneration. —APP
