Scotland remain unchanged

EDINBURGH, Feb 13: Scotland's cricket selectors have named an unchanged side for the World Cup following a successful build-up in Kenya over the last few weeks.

The 15 players who originally set out on the five-week tour to Sharjah, Mombasa and Nairobi have been invited to travel to Barbados and St Kitts to take part in the one-day tournament.

“We went to Kenya with two aims, first to qualify for the Twenty20 World Championship and also to inflict a first defeat on the host country,” said national team coach Peter Drinnen.

“We achieved both these objectives, and it is therefore no surprise that we are endorsing the entire squad for the World Cup itself.”

Scotland open their campaign in St Kitts against Australia on March 14, then play South Africa on March 20 and Holland four days later.
