KARACHI, Feb 11: President of the ruling PML Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Secretary General Mushahid Hussain have congratulated Sindh Chief Minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim on the success of PML candidate Pir Mujeeb Shah Jeelani in the PS-71 the by-election.

Talking to the chief minister by phone, they said the party had emerged as the strongest party in Sindh under his leadership, according to a statement issued here on Sunday. They hoped that the party would score a clean sweep in the province in the upcoming general elections.

“The victory of PML and its allies in the previous local body elections is a proof of people’s confidence in the party,” they observed.—APP
