KARACHI: MBBS exams

KARACHI, Feb 10: The dean, faculty of Medicines, University of Karachi (KU) Prof Dr Saadiya Aziz Karim has announced that the minimum gap between theory papers of final year MBBS examinations 2007 will be three days.

The exams will start on March 5 and the examination evaluation format will be as in previous years with 25 per cent negative marking for MCS papers, said a press release here on Saturday.

MBBS Exams Schedule: The examinations department, University of Karachi (KU), announced the programme of final professional MBBS annual examinations 2007, to be held in March 2007.

According to the revised programme, the paper of Surgery-I will be held on March 5, Surgery-II on 9th, ENT on 13th, Paediatrics on 17th, Medicine-I on 21st, Medicine-II on 26th, Gynaecology on 30th, Obstetrics on April 3 and Eye on 7th.

All the papers will be conducted from 2pm to 4pm and from 2:30pm to 4:30pm on Fridays at the Department of Mathematics, University of Karachi.—PPI
