KARACHI, Feb 9: Dr Adibul Hasan Rizvi, founder of the Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation, was the key-note speaker at the seventh annual convocation of the Textile Institute of Pakistan where this year’s prestigious Eqbal Ahmad Award was given to Unaiza Raza.

The award established in memory of Dr Eqbal Ahmad, the TIP’s first chancellor, is given each year to the student who “closely embodies the values Dr Ahmad stood for”, according to a press release. The award carries a gold medal and a cash reward.
