KARACHI, Feb 8: The Election Commission has deputed its senior officers to observe the process of by-election for NA-250 Karachi and PS-71 Dadu being held on February 10.

These teams will be in addition to those of local and foreign observers already assigned the job of monitoring the polling.

HOLIDAY: A spokesman for the Services and General Administration & Coordination Department, Sindh, has clarified that the notification issued earlier for holiday on Saturday is applicable to the areas falling in the jurisdiction of the NA-250 Karachi and PS-71 Dadu constituencies only.

All government, semi-government and autonomous offices and institutions, including the Sindh Secretariat, will function normally, he added.
