ISLAMABAD, Feb 7: Security at the Parliament House on Wednesday was enhanced as surveillance cameras have been installed at the two main gates.

“The cameras have been installed after last night’s incident (at the Islamabad airport),” a security official said.

Security personnel were extra vigilant as every visitor was being thoroughly body-searched along with the hand bags and personal belongings. Other than regular employees, no one was allowed inside without proper security pass.

Recently sensors were installed in the ground outside the main entrance of the parliament to automatically scan the underneath of vehicles.—APP
