SAHIWAL, Feb 4: A proclaimed offender killed another family member of his rivals over a land dispute at Chak 5/EB on Sunday.
Reports said that Allah Ditta Joiya had occupied 160 kanals of agriculture land owned by Tariq Dogar. Owing to his political influence, Joiya had not only refused to return the land to its real owner, but also crippled him by firing shots to his legs.
Khuda Yar, the brother of Tariq Dogar, had killed Joiya’s brother Muhammad Ashiq some two years back and was declared the PO in that case. On Sunday, Khuda Yar also killed Allah Ditta Joiya.
Arifwala Sadar police have registered a case and are investigating.
KILLED: A young girl was electrocuted in a nearby Mauza Thatha Bagian village on Sunday.
Reports said that Robina was ironing the clothes of her mother when she received severe electric shock. She died on the spot.
Police are looking into the matter.
