Labourer killed in explosion

SHEIKHUPURA, Feb 1: A labourer was killed while another suffered serious burns when a chemical in a factory in Mian Colony exploded on Thursday.

Two brothers Irfan, 22, and Imran, 19, were working in the factory of Sadiq Changar when the chemical caught fire and burst. Irfan was killed while Imran injured critically. He was removed to Mayo Hospital, Lahore.

Immediately after the incident, the bomb disposal squad and police reached the spot and started investigation.

BODY FOUND: Narang police recovered the body of Fahim who went missing two days ago from Malikpur village.

Police claimed that the murder was the outcome of an old enmity.
