PESHAWAR, Feb 1: The issue of Kashmiris should be resolved in accordance with the aspiration of its people who have given immense sacrifice for their cause, said the NWFP Minister for Culture, Sports and IT, Hussain Ahmad Kanju.

He said this on Thursday, while addressing the five-day photo exhibition on the sacrifices Kashmiri people have given for self-determination. The exhibition is jointly organised by the NWFP Culture Department and the Sarhad Arts Council in Peshawar Museum. The photographs were taken by Majid Ali, a photographer of the Daily Business Times.

The minister further said that about 90 thousand Kashmiris have been martyred during the last 18 years and added, India was consciously targeting younger generation through state terrorism to attain its ulterior motive.—APP
