LAHORE, Jan 26: Federal Information Minister Mohammad Ali Durrani said on Friday that the government was trying to resolve the issue of the implementation of the Seventh Wage Board Award with legal safeguards. Speaking at the Lahore Press Club’s ‘Meet-the-Press’ programme, Durrani said the issue would be resolved soon as a tripartite meeting would be held in Islamabad on Feb 6 to discuss the issue. The meeting would be attended by the representatives of the government, journalists, the All-Pakistan Newspapers Society and the Council of Pakistan Newspapers Editors.
