PESHAWAR, Jan 25: Certificates were awarded among the participants of the first “leadership course in regional disaster response and trauma system management”. Corps Commander Lt-Gen Mohammed Hamid Khan was the chief guest on the occasion, says a press release issued here on Thursday.

Addressing the gathering, he said the course was a timely response to augment preparatory efforts for quick response to a natural calamity and added that the trauma course at the regional level would build a common base of understanding about trauma.

The commander expressed the hope that the participants would take full advantage of the first course of its kind.—APP
