KARACHI, Jan 24: Islamabad continued their dominance of the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy Silver League competition by bowling out Hyderabad for a paltry first-innings total of 106 at the Mirpur Cricket Stadium in Azad Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday.

Put into bat by Rao Iftikhar, Hyderabad soon found themselves in deep trouble at 18 for four, losing three of the wickets to the Islamabad skipper.

Fellow paceman Zohaib Ahmed then cleaned up middle-order batting with figures of four for 31 as the visitors were bundled out in 41.2 overs.

By close of play Islamabad were already in front at 116 for three. Opener Atif Ashraf hammered eight fours in making 54. Farhan Ayub, the medium-pacer, took all the wickets to fall so far.
