52 Pakistani pilgrims dead

ISLAMABAD, Feb 19: After arriving in Saudi Arabia to perform Haj, 52 Pakistani pilgrims have died so far.

Of them, 35 were buried in Makkah and 16 in Madina while the body of a pilgrim was sent to Pakistan for burial, official sources said on Tuesday.

The deceased are: Sughran Bibi, Abdul Aziz, Bashir Ahmed, Faqir Mohammad, Mohammad Munir Khan, Fazal Ali Sadiq, Ulfat Begum, Ali Mohammad, Mohammad Khalid, Majeeda Begum, Mohammad Ayub, Mohammad Rashid Mirza, Syed Mumtaz Ali, Bashiran Bibi, Faqir Mohammad, Mohammad Ishfaq, Sahibzadi, Naz Pari, Ghulam Fatima, Mrs Lal, Noor Meena Begum, Mohammad Rahim, Haleemah Begum, Mohammad Abdullah, Mohammad Baksh, Niaz Ahmad Munir, Mohammad Israil, Akhtar Hussain, Mohammad Safdar, Mohammad Akbar, Atta Mohammad, Jummah Khan, Zar Bibi, Ghulam Aisha, Abdul Aziz, Waris Khan, Abdul Sattar, Fazal Hussain, Nehmat Bibi, Chahat Khan, Mohammad Hussain, Yousaf Ali, Khaksar Ali Khan, Fatima Begum, Sardar Ahmad, Mohammad Sadiq Khan, Tassadaq Hussain, Zarina Begum, Hazrat Nabi, Nazir Ahmad Afaqi, Haseemuddin Ahmad Farooq and Mohibullah.—APP
