HYDERABAD, Feb 19: The Vice Chancellor University of Sindh, Mazharul Haq Siddiqui, has said that foreign students are the ambassadors of the university in their countries as well as at the campus.
He was presiding over a meeting of the deans and concerned sectional heads which reviewed the facilities available for the foreign students.
The meeting which was attended by the deans of different faculties, Registrar Prof. Ferozuddin Kazi, Director Admissions Muhammad Saleh Rajar and others discussed in detail the available facilities for the girls and boys at the hostels and formulated a guideline accordingly.
The meeting decided to pay special attention to the problems of the foreign students and their resolution on a priority basis.
It also decided that an annual function will be organized for foreign students.
It was resolved that the broachers of the Institute of Information Technology (IIT), Pharmacy, Institute of Computer Science (IMCS), Institute of Business Administration (IBA) and other sciences and social science subjects of the job-oriented disciplines will be published by the university and made available for the guidance of foreign students.
