MIRPURKHAS, Jan 23: Two people were killed and two others sustained injuries after a vehicle, locally known as ‘Kekra’, overturned at the Wasal Wah near Khokhropar on Tuesday.

The vehicle went out of the driver’s control on an under construction road and overturned resulting in the death of Umer Abro, 21, and Islamuddin and injuries to Chanesar and Ghulam Ali. The two injured were moved to taluka hospital Umerkot. Chanesar was later shifted to Hyderabad due to his precarious condition.

In another accident, a sugarcane laden tractor-trolly crushed a nine-year-old boy to death on the Sindhri-Sanghar Road near Mohammad Khan Junejo farm when he tried to cross over the road.
