KARACHI, Jan 23: Four ships carrying containers and crude oil are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity on the wharves was modest where only three ships, Hermia, Global Progress and Pu He were berthed after the departure of five.

Mol Ability, Mol Silver Fern, Amasis, Shaheen Al-Ghanim-10 and Hermia left the port on Tuesday, while Global Progress, Southern Atlas and Oel Esteem are due to sail out on Wednesday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where a total tonnage of 87,761 tons of export cargo and 64,558 tons of import tonnage was handled.

The following ships are due on Wednesday: Shalamar with crude oil, Y.M. Fortune, Hyundai Highway and Tower Bridge with containers.
