11 of a family die in accident

RAJANPUR, Jan 22: Eleven members of a family were killed and 26 others injured after a van collided with a Peshawar-bound passenger coach on the Indus Highway near here on Monday.

The accident occurred near the Murghai area in Rojhan. The dead included four women and three children, who were returning to Omar Kot after attending a family gathering in Kot Mithan. Four of the dead were identified as Hazoor Bux, Bashir Ahmad, Nasreen Bibi and Shaheen.

The bus passenger, who boarded the bus from Karachi, had been admitted to the Rajapur district headquarters hospital. Four of them were later shifted to the Sheikh Zayed Hospital.
