SMEs’ registration

Published January 21, 2007

KARACHI, Jan 20: Unisame President Zulfikar Thaver has asked all the SMEs to get organised by registering themselves with Smeda or respective trade bodies so that they could truly benefit from the government policies related to SMEs.

He said that the SME policy adopted by the government would facilitate the SMEs in each and every aspect of the business ranging from protection, finance, marketing, procurement, logistics, accommodation in industrial estates, leasing and insurance.

He said that under the new SME policy retired persons and new entrants could establish their own business and run it whereas existing units could upgrade themselves accordingly.
