KARACHI, Jan 20: Three ships to load/offload containers and chemicals were accommodated berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Saturday. Meanwhile, one more ship carrying chemicals also arrived at the outer anchorage. Berth occupancy was maintained at eighty per cent as seven ships, Maersk Arkansas, San Clemente, Annie Sierra, Sibi, Sea Express, Stolt, Loyalty, Chemstar King and Capt. George-L, were busy in loading/offloading containers, rice, edible oil, chemicals and iron ore.

A cargo volume of 51,322 tons comprising 32,202 tons of import and 19,120 tons of export tonnage was handled.

Sailings were active as Chemstar King, Stolt Loyalty and Sibi left the port.
