KARACHI, Jan 20: Five vessels carrying chemicals and containers are due to arrive at the outer anchorage on Sunday, according to KPT sources.Berthing activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where 10 ships, Shaheen Al-Ghanim-1 to load clinkers, Star Mizuho to offload coal, Calvin P. Titus, Oel Aishwarya, Gallant Wave to unload and load containers, Johar, Battery Park, Bow Favour and Liquid Success tankers, were berthed.

Sailing was also fairly active as 10 ships, Tai He, Kota Perkasa, Jade Trader, Warbah, Positive Leader, Andino Park, El-Tango, Darya Yog, Liquid Success and Annika departed, while Jade-C, Grand Duke, Clavin P Titus, Battery Park, Lover Song and Gallant Wave are due to sail out on Sunday.

Johar, Oel Aishwarya, Bunga Terasek and Opal are also due to depart on Sunday after loading export commodities and unload crude oil.

A total tonnage of 0.103m tons comprising 16.842 tons of export cargo including 1,690 tons of rice and 4,046 tons of clinker and 86,292 tons of import tonnage was handled on Saturday.

The following ships are due on Sunday: Hermia with chemicals, Saudi Daryah, Amasis, Oel Esteem and Mol Silver Fern with containers.

The following vessels are due on Monday: Southern Atlas with containers and Pu He with base oil.
