LAHORE, Jan 19: Robbers on Friday night shot at and injured the father of cricketer Kamran Akmal near Factory Area on Sheikhupura Road. Reports said some armed men held up Muhammad Akmal Siddique outside the Data Darbar and drove him towards Sheikhupura Road. As Mr Siddique put up resistance, the gangsters shot at and injured him and drove away with the vehicle, besides taking away cash in thousands and cell phone. Deserted on the road, the injured was taken to the Mayo Hospital where he was admitted.
