KARACHI, Jan 17: The executive committee of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) has approved the statutes of the Business Owners Council of OIC member countries which is targeted to have 10,000 members.

This was stated by former FPCCI president Tariq Saeed who has returned after attending the executive committee meeting of the ICCI in Cairo, Egypt. He said there will be three categories of membership of the council – platinum, gold and silver – with annual membership fee of $1,500, $1,000 and $500 respectively and carrying different privileges for the members, including travel visa.

The board of directors of the council will comprise eight elected and three co-opted members and chairman will be elected by the board, he added.
