KARACHI: Timber market catches fire

KARACHI, Jan 14: A fire broke out in the timber market here on Sunday morning. No casualty was reported in the incident.

A spokesman for the fire department said that the fire broke out in the market located in Madina Colony in the Mohajir Camp area.

The fire which started in a godown quickly spread to the rest of the godowns.

Five fire tenders were employed to control the fire which was put out after several hours of operation.
