PESHAWAR, Jan 11: The Awami National Party's victory in the Bajaur Agency by-polls has proved that it is moving in the right direction to achieve rights of the people and the province. These views were expressed by ANP provincial chief Bashir Ahmad Bilour at a meeting held at the Bacha Khan Chowk here on Wednesday. He said that the ANP would continue to raise its voice for the rights of the Pakhtuns and condemn terrorism.

The party would organise a meeting on Jan 26 to observe the first anniversary of Khan Abdul Wali Khan. ANP president Senator Asfandyar Wali Khan and party's central and provincial leaders would pay homage to the services of the Pukhtun nationalist leader. Quran Khwani will be held at the Bacha Khan Markaz on Jan 20.—Bureau
