HYDERABAD, Jan 11: Rich tributes were paid to late Makhdoom Mohammad Zaman Talibul Moula for his services in the cause of Sindh and promotion of education, Sindhi language and literature at his 14th death anniversary held at Hala on Thursday.

Makhdoom Mohammad Amin Fahim presided over the function. The followers of Sarwari Jamat, led by Makhdoom Mohammad Amin Fahim, visited the mazar of Talibul Moula and laid a floral wreath on the mazar.

Makhdoom Jamiluzzaman, Makhdoom Shakeeluzzaman, Syed Ali Mohammad Shah, Sardar Dhani Bux Solangi, Azam Memon and hundreds of other Sarwari Jamat members were also present. Quran Khawani and fateha Khawani was also held on the occasion.

The main anniversary function was held at Makhdoom Shafiquzzaman Hall where a literary conference was also arranged.

Speaking on the occasion, Makhdoom Mohammad Amin Faheem said that Makhdoom Talibul Moula continues to live in the hearts and minds of his followers and the people. He said, he had taught him not to give up principles whatever the cost. He said his illustrious father was not only his Murshid and guide but also his leader.

He said all his life, he had remained a strong supporter of PPP and was its front rank leader.

He said NAB had closed its eyes to the corruption of those people who were associated with the present government. He advised the followers of Sarwari Jamat to maintain unity in their rank and file.

Speaking on the occasion, the president PPP Sindh, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, said that late Z.A.Bhutto had trusted Makhdoom Talibul Moula more than anyone else in the party.

He said Makhdoom Saheb was a true spiritual leader.
