Peshawar gain full points

RAWALPINDI, Jan 9: Peshawar obtained maximum points when they easily beat Rawalpindi by six wickets in the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy Gold League fixture at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Tuesday.

Chasing a small target of 88 in 39 overs, Peshawar needed 25.1 overs to collect nine points.

Earlier, Rawalpindi doubled their overnight score of 127 for six before they were all out for 254. Only Yasir Arafat hung around long enough to hit a gutsy 71.
