KARACHI, Jan 8: Pasha clinched the weekend Swiss Bridge League Championship with 94 victory points (VPs) at the Aslam Memorial Hall on Sunday evening. Pasha having Iqbal Haider, Nuri Pasha, Farhat Abbas and Mohammad Naseem in their fold, started with thumping victories against Mahmood-IV 25-4, Striker 18-12, Candyland 25-4 but lost 13-17 to Mazhar and 13-17 to Raees. Both Ahmed-IV and Strikers mustered 85 VPs. But Ahmed-IV received advantage and claimed second position as they had defeated the Strikers earlier.—APP
