KARACHI: Security ordered

KARACHI, Jan 8: Sindh Chief Secretary Fazalur Rehman has asked the officials concerned for taking precautionary measures for Muharram and prepare an effective strategy to ensure law and order. He also directed the home secretary to take necessary steps for maintaining sanctity of Muharram.

He issued these directives referring to various applications.

He also appealed to scholars of different schools of thought and intellectuals to discharge their duties for promotion of religious tolerance during Muharram.
