GUJRANWALA, Jan 6: The local anti-terrorism court No 1 on Saturday issued death warrant for a murder convict and fixed Jan 25 for his execution. According to the prosecution, Munir Ahmad had killed Muhammad Almas and three women Rasulan Bibi, Sughran bibi and Saba Nazir over an old enmity at Mehman Phalia on Oct 2, 1996. The court had handed down death sentence to him along with a fine of Rs80,000 in 1998. The LHC and the SC had upheld the decision. The president had also rejected his clemency appeal.
