RAWALPINDI, Jan 4: The Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) will hold an exhibition in April aimed at introducing modern trends in business. This was stated by RCCI President Dr Hassan Saroosh while chairing a meeting of the standing committee on fairs and exhibitions on Thursday.

He said the exhibition would be an ideal opportunity for the businessmen to introduce their products.

Not only national but also international investors will be able to promote their products. He said trading delegates from the RCCI had participated in international exhibitions and were familiar with their standards. He hoped that the standard would be maintained in the show.

Dr Saroosh said Pakistan occupied tenth position in the list of developing economies and was among a few big economies of Asia. This is the direct outcome of the consistent and free economic policies of the government.

These policies have caused an increase in the foreign investment in the country that vindicated investors’ trust in Pakistan, he added.

He said RCCI would provide a platform to foreign investors to promote their products in the country.

Only better standards can guarantee the survival of the businessman in the market. He said exhibitions increased the tendency of competition.

The meeting was also attended by chairman of the committee Syed Asad Haider and vice-chairman Nadeem Ijaz.
