KARACHI: Postgraduate scholarships

KARACHI, Jan 4: Applications have been invited for jointly funded scholarships for postgraduate students between 23 and 35 years of age for academic year 2007-08, said a British Council Pakistan communication on Thursday.

The Open Society Institute, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the Cambridge Commonwealth Trust have invited applications for scholarships at the University of Cambridge from both nationals of and residents in Pakistan.

The scholarships are for one-year postgraduate programmes in the fields of Criminology, Development Studies, Economics, Economics and Development, Education, Historical Studies, History and Philosophy of Science, International Relations, Management Studies, Philosophy, Political Thought and Intellectual History, Social Anthropology, leading to the award of MPhil degrees.

The deadline for applications is January 31.
