KARACHI, Dec 31: The Hasan Square Flyover was opened to traffic while New M A Jinnah Road and Shahrah-i-Pakistan are also open after completion of development work.

“We have opened the Hasan Square Flyover on the eve of Eidul Azha to facilitate people,” City Nazim Mustafa Kamal said. He added that the whole signal-free corridor – between Karsaz and Nazimabad – would formally be inaugurated sometime after Eid.

The city nazim made these remarks during his visit to the site of various development projects late on Saturday night to review the status of the projects.

He pointed out that the Rs490 million Hasan Square Flyover project had been launched in June this year and completed in a record five-and-a-half months.
