LAHORE, Dec 30: Four-goal Tariq Hashim guided Blokes to victory in the low-goal polo cup, beating 210 in the final 7 1/2-6 on Saturday.

The winners were leading 4 1/2-1 at the end of the first two chukkers, as Tariq and Omar Asjad Malhi added one goal each to the handicap. Irfan Hyder, who scored three, struck first for the losers.

In the third chukker, 210 staged a brilliant comeback adding four goals, against two they conceded, to reduce the lead to 6 1/2-5. But Tariq slammed in his fourth goal in the beginning of the fourth chukker, converting a 30-yard penalty hit before Faisal Khokhar struck one for the losers to complete the tally. Rocco earned the third position beating First Law 6- 2 1/2.
