Rs133m project for AJK libraries

MUZAFFARABAD, Dec 27: The government of AJK has decided to launch a project worth Rs133 million to set up a network of libraries, Prime Minister Sardar Attiq Ahmad Khan said on Wednesday.

Sources said the prime minister had issued directives to Khurshid National Library to prepare a plan for setting up libraries.

Talking to journalists, Khurshid National Library Nazim Mohammad Saad Khan said the PC-1 for the Rs133 million project had been prepared and it would be submitted to the authorities concerned for approval soon.

The libraries equipped with latest equipment would be linked with each other.—Online
