LANDI KOTAL (Khyber Agency), Dec 27: The Tribal Union of Journalists, Khyber Agency unit, has demanded immediate arrest of four people involved in thrashing of a newsman.

A local journalist and member of agency council, Farooq Khan, was dragged out of a pick-up and beaten up and his mobile phone was snatched by four unidentified men at Shah Kas on Shalobar Road a week ago.

According to Mr Khan, when he narrated his ordeal to the local administration, the Bara tehsildar refused to register a case but assured him that action would be taken against the culprits.
